In this guide, we are troubleshooting issues that may mean that configuration is missing in your custom courses, including the courses that have already been built in the LMS.
If it is reported that a video in a custom course does not have a Play button or is not loading, you should check the settings of your custom course as detailed in the steps below.
Step 1:
- Click the Admin tab and select the Learning Navigator option.
- Navigate to your Online Content folder by clicking the
icon next to each item in the following path: Sandler -> Customer Audience -> Franchise -> Franchise Name – FRANCHISE OWNER -> Franchise Name – FRANCHISE OWNER – Local Content -> Franchise Name – FRANCHISE OWNER – Online Content.
- In the Franchise Name – FRANCHISE OWNER – Online Content folder, locate and select the custom course in this folder that is having issues. The details are displayed on the left side of the window.
- Under the Properties tab on the left side of the window, click the Edit tab.
- In the settings on the Edit tab, check these settings:
- Published: Yes
- Open in new window: Yes
- Click Save at the bottom of the window.
STEP 2:
- Click the Self-Paced tab to view the offerings associated with the content object. NOTE: Make sure only one offering is listed for the content object. Only Classroom (ILT) or Virtual Classroom (VILT) content objects are allowed to have more than one offering.
- On the Self-Paced tab, click the hyperlink under the Offering column.
- Click the Edit tab.
- In the settings on the Edit tab, check these settings:
- Published: Yes
- Select the Open in new window checkbox.

Click Save at the bottom of the window.
