The new enhancements to the LMS are part of a coordinated effort between the Sandler Learning Technology team and our LMS vendor, Seertech. The goal of the features in this LMS enhancement release are to make it easier to share and manage content in the Sandler LMS. Click the link in the title of each feature below to learn more!
Sharing Content in the LMS
Using Share buttons, you can now grab a hyperlink (URL) that you can quickly share directly from a channel/subscription, learning path, virtual class offering, or content object in the Sandler LMS. No need to run a report to retrieve a deep link to the content! Additionally, if you are already logged in to the Sandler LMS when you click on one of these new hyperlinks, you are no longer required to log in again to access the content. There are so many ways you can share these links with your clients – via email, custom course invitations, flyers, syllabus, etc.
Custom Course Emails
Previously, limited functionality existed in the LMS to allow you to customize your emails for your custom content. The following new options have been added to support this:
- A new Email Message field has been added to your custom content objects, offerings, and learning paths. You can use this field on your custom content to append personalized information onto the standard email notifications. This field supports rich text formatting and translation.
- You can manually send an email from your custom content object, offering, or learning path using the Send Email menu option. As you prepare this email, you will also have the option to override the email addresses configured (e.g., the From Address and Reply To).
Bulk Select on Attendance and Completion
For the Instructor role, instead of individually marking attendance or completion for learners one at a time, you can now accomplish this in bulk on virtual class offerings.
Viewable/Editable Search Keyword
Franchise Admins can configure keywords in the new Keywords field in the editable information of their custom channels, learning paths, content objects, and supplemental resources. These keywords are intended to make it easier to find related content faster and more efficiently in the main catalog search.
Weekly and Monthly Syllabus Templates
We’ve developed weekly and monthly syllabus templates to support our franchises in providing learners with what they can expect each week or month in their training sessions. These syllabus templates can include the topics that will be covered, direct links to join the virtual class offerings or take them directly to the content or their assignments in the LMS, as well as details of their homework assignments each day or week.
