The new enhancements to the LMS are listed below. These features are part of an internal LMS enhancement release based on direct feedback from users, admins, coaches, and leaders. Click the link in the title of each feature below to watch a video walkthrough.
The layout of the content has been modified to show Channel Subscriptions while consolidating In Progress Learning. The My In Progress Learning section now encompasses multiple learning delivery options including learning paths, online courses, and videos. Finally, the My Scheduled Learning section is used to access the virtual learning sessions that you are signed up for, such as a webinar. This allows you to quickly join the virtual session from your learner dashboard when the session is about to start. NOTE: This section will be empty if there are no virtual learning sessions to display.
Categories and Expanded Keyword Search Functionality
The Catalog and the Content tabs within Channels have been updated with categories. The categories are aligned with Sandler content topics and include subcategories when appropriate. These categories will improve the search experience. Also, the content throughout the LMS has been enhanced with keyword tags. The search features in the LMS now look for keywords throughout the content and will offer expanded search capabilities. This will assist in more granular searches and return better search results.
The following two new links are now available for all admin users in the Quick Links section of the Home page in the LMS.
- Zendesk Help Guide: This link will open the Zendesk Help Center in a new window so you can search for articles in Zendesk.
- LMS Training Center- This link navigates the admins to the LMS Training Center. This SharePoint site provides a centralized location to quickly communicate new or updated LMS or product training resources, LMS release updates, custom graphics, and file import templates for admins.
Admins can place a ticket to courseware@sandler.com to request custom Quick Links for their own portals. Example of custom links:

This feature works like your favorite playlist. To access, click the icon next to each item in the following path in the LMS: My Learning -> My Learning Paths -> My Personal Learning Pathway.
To add content to a personal path, go to the content (such as a video) and click the icon to reveal the Add to Learning Path option from the menu displayed. This will add the content and redirect you to your My Personal Learning Pathway. Click the Play or Remove buttons on each of the individual content items from your Personal Learning Pathway to play or remove the content.
Future Start Date in User Creation
There are times when a new user needs to be entered immediately, but with a future start date in the system. The existing Start Date field on the User Creation window has been updated to allow date values in the future and the creation of the account and activation of the user will be delayed until this future date.
