Overview
The User Summary is used to see details of user profiles and generally manage user accounts. You can search for users with a common attribute e.g. Organization, learning role or for all direct reports of a single Manager.
NOTE: You will only be able to see Users you have permission to view.
SEARCH FIELDS

Username: Enter the Username (name used to login with), or the surname, first name, email address or part thereof. Check the below boxes if required:

Match Username Exactly: By selecting this, only results with an exact match will be displayed.

Include Inactive Users: By selecting this, inactive users will be displayed as well active users. Inactive users include any who have a past end date; those who have a future start date and those who's On Extended Leave field is set to Y.

Match Username Exactly: By selecting this, only results with an exact match will be displayed.
- Account Status: Select All, Locked or Unlocked (Locked accounts are those where the User has exceeded the number of attempts to logon. Only those clients with a number defined will have locked accounts.
- Attribute Name: Select from the User attributes to refine your search e.g. Learning Role. NOTE: If you select an Attribute name, you must also enter an Attribute Value.
- Attribute Value: Type in the value or part value you require e.g. Learning role value of Team will bring records of Team Manager, team Member and Team Coordinator.
- Organization: Click on the list icon and navigate through the Organization tree or type the name or part name of the Organization into the search field. Click on the correct Organization and close the pop-up. This will result in all records which are within that Organization. NOTE: You will only be able to access Users in the organizations you have permission to view.

Show users without an organization: Selecting this will return only users who are not in an organization.
- NOTE: As the users are not in an organization the permissions model does not apply. Access to this function is driven by Role Module User Summary - No Organization.
- If you still do not see the user, you do not have permission.
- Manager: Use the list icon to select the Manager. This will limit the search results to the selected Managers' Direct Reports only.
- Show users without a manager: This will produce only those records which do not have a manager.
- Role: Select from the list of Sandler roles (e.g. Learner) to refine your results
- User Group: Select from the drop-down list of User Groups to return only those users within that group.
Instructions
Search for a User(s)
- On the Home page, the main menu is displayed at the top of the screen.
- In the main menu, hover over the "Admin Menu" link. The "Admin Menu" options will be displayed.
- Click the Admin Menu link. The Admin Menu page will be displayed.
- Next, click the User Summary link located on the left side of the screen.

The User Summary screen will be displayed. Enter the name, email, or username in the open field
- Leaving field blank will show all users you are permissioned for.
- Click All Filters and apply additional SEARCH FIELDS above for an advanced search.
- Click the Search button. The search results will be displayed.

RESULTS FIELDS
The list of results is displayed, one record per line, for all that meet the search criteria.

Full Name: This is the Surname, First name of the User.
- This is a link to the User Details screen where you may view or change the profile depending on the permission you have. This is a link which will open the User Details.
- The unique system ID for the user (User_ID) appears under the Full Name.
- Username: This is the Logon name for the User. The user email appears in this column also. This is the external email address - or delegated address of the user.
- Start Date: This date indicates when the user's account was initiated.

Last System Usage: This date refers to the last time the User logged in, was enrolled in a course or had a performance update on a course e.g. being marked complete.
- This field is updated overnight by a batch process
- Manager: This is the Username of the User's Manager. If clicked, this will then display the Manager details in the results screen.
- Organization: This is the Organization of the user
