Overview
Targeting allows a course or learning path to be offered in the shop for purchase. You must ensure your offering is targeted in order for your learner to access the course. Using the system, you can choose to target a specific user, organization, user group. You may also choose to exclude a specific user.
Instructions
Add Targeting
- On the Home page, the main menu is displayed at the top of the screen.
- In the main menu, hover over the "Admin Menu" link. The "Admin Menu" options will be displayed.
- Click the Learning Navigator link. The Learning Navigator page will be displayed.
- On the left hand side, locate the content folder you would like to add to the shop. Click the folder.
- The content screen will be displayed. Click the "Targeting" tab at the top of the screen.
- The "Targeting" page will be displayed. The Targeting option links will be displayed.
- Mandatory Enrollment - This will add the offering automatically to any enrolled learner.
- Self Enrollment - This will all the learner to self enroll.
- Authorized Enrollment - This will require approval for enrollment confirmation.
- Purchasable Enrollment - This will allow the offering to be purchased in the shop.
- Click the link of the enrollment condition you would like to change. The Override Default Conditions button will be displayed.
- Click the Override Default Conditions button. The option to change the condition will be displayed.
- Click the "+" button of the enrollment condition you would like to add and follow the prompts.
- Click the Save button. The screen will be refreshed with the selection you made.
