Your Home page is all about your current learning journey in the LMS.

The first section of the Home page contains the highest level of learning – My Channels.

What is a Channel?

Channels are subscriptions that contain content that has been compiled together into at least one learning path and is relevant for a specific topic or group of learners. Franchise Admins can subscribe a channel to their clients.

Learners may also be given access to bonus content (e.g., additional online courses, supplemental videos, job aids, etc.) through a Channel subscription.

What is a Learning Path?

As mentioned, Channels contain at least one Learning Path. A learning path allows admins to group together related content that a learner will either be mandated to take to complete the learning path or the path could also contain optional content. A learning path can support all types of content (e.g., eLearning videos, ILT/VILT course offerings, PDFs, Workbooks, physical resources such as books and job aids, etc.).

Content is managed by LMS team, Product team, and Franchise Admins via the Learning Navigator option in the Admin menu of the LMS.

The second section is labeled My In Progress Learning and displays your current progress in all content, including Learning Paths.

The final section on your Home page is labeled My Scheduled Learning and shows you all of the instructor-led training sessions (ILT/VILT) – also known as In-Person or Virtual offerings that you are signed up for. NOTE: On the right-side of the window is your LMS Calendar which you can toggle to display in Grid or List view. This calendar also provides you with quick access to your scheduled ILT/VILT offerings.
