For your custom content in the LMS, you can to customize your emails. The following options are available to support this:
Email Message Configuration

A new Email Message field has been added to your custom content objects, offerings, and learning paths. You can use this field on your custom content to append personalized information onto the standard email notifications. This field supports rich text formatting and translation. To get to this field, follow the steps below:
- From the Learning Navigator, locate your custom content object, offering, and learning path, and click on the name.
- Click the Edit tab.
- Scroll down to the Email Message field and enter the additional information you want to append to the standard email invitation text.
- Click the Save button.
Manually Send an Email

You can manually send an email from your custom content object, offering, or learning path using the Send Email menu option. As you prepare this email, you will also have the option to override the email addresses configured (e.g., the From Address and Reply To). To get to this, follow the steps below:
- From the Learning Navigator, locate your custom content object, offering, and learning path, and click on the name.
- In the preview on the right, click the
icon and select the Send Email option from the menu displayed.

Modify the fields you want to personalize. Here are a few ideas for each step:
- STEP 1: In the Email Template field, select the NOTIFICATION - Offering Email Template - Online (Default - en) option.

STEP 2:
- From Address: Select an email address from the drop-down field.
- Reply To: Select an email address from the drop-down field.
- Attachment: Click the View/Upload File button to attach a file to the email message (e.g., your weekly or monthly syllabus).
- Message Body: Enter any additional details you want to communicate to the learners assigned to this content.

- STEP 3: The enrolled learners are selected in the Email Enrolled Learners field, by default. Click the Search button to retrieve all enrolled learners (no matter what progress they have made), and the list of enrolled learners should be retrieved in the list of recipient's below. Click the Next button.

STEP 4: Review your email.
- Click the Previous button if you want to make any changes.
- Click the Send Test Email button if you want to receive a test email.
- Click the Send button if you are ready to send the email.
